Moe Spencer - While visiting the Thousand Island Museum in Clayton, New York, U.S., I saw lace that might be early Carrickmacross. I saw the “pops” and perhaps early “loops”. They did not have any information on the blouse (date or acquisition) and they are interested in knowing more. If anyone can share more information I can forward it to them.

Mary Elizabeth Barron - First day of workshop with the wonderful Ewa Szpila in Bobowa, Poland learning Bobowa lace. It is very different for me working on a bolster with the traditional big bobbins. I seem to have become uncoordinated & struggled so much to make a very wonky tallie, very different doing them on a bolster! You will notice one perfect tallie that Ewa did to demonstrate her method of working then I tried & had to keep unpicking but it still isn't ang good. But it was lots of fun & hopefully I will improve as I go!

Jeanette Josephine Dennis - It has been a busy time here so just getting to upload photos I took of my attempts at PAM 11.03 Elsa van Baaren. My first attempt is the orange book mark with quite a number of obvious errors. it took me a while to get a hang of the Armure Roseground, so second attempt was made in the white thread.
