Chesapeake Region Lace Guild - Hello Lace Friends! We have a new beginner bobbin lace class starting October 10 taught by the one and only Karen Hansen Thompson, who’s taught folks how to make lace all around the world. You can find the registration link in the comments.

 

Chesapeake Region Lace Guild - Join us for a beginner-friendly bobbin lace class in August! The class will be taught by the fabulous Karen H. Thompson and will take place in Springfield, Virginia. The cost is $50 if you already have bobbin lace supplies, or $100 if you need a kit. If needed, we can provide a ride to and from the Springfield-Franconia metro, and scholarships are also available!

 

Chesapeake Region Lace Guild - It’s Couvige time! If you’ve ever wanted to know how folks are able to keep track of all those bobbins now is your chance! Join us at the GW Museum and Textile Museum to learn all about lace making, and learn how to make it yourself. And, check out the fabulous coverlet exhibit while you’re there.
