The Lace Guild - Calling all members of The Lace Guild. There is Coffee and Chat session on Friday, March 27 at 9:00 to 11:00 (GMT). This is an opportunity to meet other lacemakers to chat about lace and to find out what is new at The Lace Guild.

 

The Lace Guild - To all with an interest in lace and lacemaking – please take part in our survey and demonstrate your support for the Lace Guild’s submission for bobbin lacemaking to the UK list of Living Heritage. You don’t have to be a member, and we don’t need your name or contact details. Closing date for survey is 13th March

 

The Lace Guild - Our new exhibition features the efforts made to keep English hand-made lace alive plus some of the earlier merchants we know about. There are examples of Lester lace plus a couple of our bobbins which were given to their best workers by the Lesters. Two pieces of lace made from Sarjeant patterns in the V&A Museum
